Dentec Safety Specialists Builds Momentum with Launch of Canadian Made LIDGUARD® Head Protection Line

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Newmarket, ON — May 8th, 2026

Following the recent launch of its SEALTEC™ Hearing Protection line, Dentec Safety Specialists Inc., a proudly Canadian, family owned and operated company, is excited to announce the further expansion of its product offering with the introduction of the LIDGUARD® Head Protection line.

This latest launch marks another major step forward in Dentec’s mission to provide complete, head to toe protection for industrial workers across North America. With the addition of LIDGUARD®, Dentec continues to evolve as a full line PPE provider, delivering practical, high-performance solutions designed for real world jobsite conditions.

The LIDGUARD® Head Protection line includes a full range of hard hats and bump caps engineered for comfort, durability, and compliance. Designed for construction, utilities, mining, manufacturing, and industrial environments, the line features CSA certified Type 1 and Type 2 hard hats protection options, giving customers the flexibility to match protection levels to specific jobsite risks.

Engineered for all day wear, every LIDGUARD® hard hat is built with a consistent 4-point ratchet suspension system that delivers a secure, balanced fit with minimal pressure points. Lightweight construction, and moisture managing brow pads help improve comfort and reduce fatigue over long shifts.

All LIDGUARD® hard hats are manufactured in Canada and certified to the latest CSA Z94.1 industrial head protection standard and meets ANSI Z89.1 standard, reinforcing Dentec’s commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.

“Launching head protection so soon after introducing our SEALTEC™ Hearing Protection line is an exciting moment for our team,” said Claudio Dente, Co Founder and President of Dentec Safety Specialists. “It reflects the momentum we are building as a company and our continued focus on delivering complete protection solutions. With LIDGUARD®, we are bringing the same level of attention to comfort, performance, and practicality that our customers have come to expect from Dentec.”

In addition to performance and protection, the LIDGUARD® line is designed to integrate seamlessly with other PPE, including face protection and hearing protection systems, allowing workers to move efficiently between tasks without compromising safety. Dentec also continues to invest in value added services that support its customers beyond the product itself. With state of art custom imprinting capabilities, companies can now apply their branding directly to LIDGUARD® hard hats and bump caps with precision and speed, enhancing visibility, identification, and professionalism across the jobsite.

“Dentec Safety makes private labeling your PPE easier and more impactful than ever with our state-of-the-art custom imprinting technology,” said Drew Dente, Vice President of Operations at Dentec Safety Specialists. “Our high speed pad printing system delivers crisp, vibrant results in up to five colours and across multiple imprint locations, helping companies strengthen their brand presence while supporting compliance and reducing product loss on site.”

With the addition of both the new hearing and head protection lines, Dentec continues to strengthen its position as a trusted partner in personal protective equipment, delivering reliable solutions that support safety, comfort, and performance on every jobsite.
