CSA Reverse Headband Testing
- Optional CSA test that confirms our Omega II shell will provide the same impact and penetration protection when you reverse the orientation of the suspension.
- This allows individuals that find the peak of the hat to interfere with their vision or require to attach welding helmets or faceshields to the hard hat. You must place the headband in the reverse position in the hard hat in order to comply with the standard. To do this, simply remove the suspension, reverse it and re-mount it into the hat so the peak of the hat is at the back of the head, aligned with the nape strap as shown in picture.
- When you see this symbol on the hard hat, this confirms the hat has been certified to this requirement for reverse headband testing according to the CSA Z94.1-15 standard.
